Help my students get the materials they need, so we can try new foods from different cultures and learn self-help skills that will help them in the future. Learning how to cook is a vital skill that children need in order to become self sufficient adults. By having these materials in our classroom, we will be able to give our children hands-on opportunities and experiences that will help them gain independence and confidence. Learning how to make bread and sampling new foods that they help prepare is not only fun and exciting but also coincides with their developmental milestones
