Each year we complete two project based learning (PBL) projects that support the students' knowledge of specific concepts and helps the students grow in their citizenship. This year we have decided to add to our community garden by having the students put together some raised beds for the growing of fruits and vegetables. My students are super excited about this PBL project. They are excited to be outside and to make lasting impact on our school community garden. They have picked what food they would like to grow and we have already as a class done some pre-planning for this project. We are very excited to see the end result of this project.

About my class
