These books will help my students challenge themselves by reading at their independent and instructional levels. The high interest of the sets I choose reflects their input and enthusiasm. Motivating children to read higher-level books increases students reading skills and helps make them life-long readers. These books will help me take my students to the next level. I chose books that will not only increase their reading skills but will teach them lessons about overcoming challenges and developing empathy. The guided reading sets are also great for student book clubs. These books will be great tools to help students talk about their reading and share their favorite titles with their peers.
