I envision a business classroom that mimics the workplace environment students will be thrust in after graduation. This includes vital soft skills needed for success; such as, time management and self-management skills. These desired outcomes, coupled with COVID requirements have led to this project request.
A no-touch time clock system using ipads, google forms, and QR codes will allow me to create an "employee time card" for each student that they can stand upon entering and exiting the classroom each day. This system will not only allow for easier tracking of students times in the classroom for attendance and COVID tracking), but also give students the responsibility of arriving/leaving "their job".
The stands and charging cords/blocks will be used at the entry/exit door for students to clock in with each day. ID pouches and retractable reel will keep their "employee card" safe throughout the school year. Other technology items in this project request (TpT, and iPad stage) will be used to deliver lessons that are appropriate in both in-person and virtual environments.
