The reading intervention program that I am striving to implement will not only support our students in a distance learning format, but can also be used when we eventually return to school. The program has explicit instruction designed for our lowest readers and can also be incorporated into our English Learner Intervention program. As an educator, finding different ways to support my students is crucial. Having this reading intervention program will provide new opportunities for my students to learn phonemic awareness, basic reading skills, and reading comprehension skills. These things will undoubtedly foster success in reading development.

About my class
