Students will be more comfortable while they are learning. This will make them more engaged. This will also help students make choices and learn responsibility. I imagine my students engaged in hands-on learning in a flexible environment. This will allow for varied collaborations and they will be responsible for choosing the environment that they choose to work in throughout the day. I hope that this will create a more student-centered classroom and allow them to take more control over their own learning. I chose flexible seating options that would work well with my current students, and can also be adjusted to meet the needs of future students in my classroom.
