Not only are these books going to engage readers of all abilities, they will also allow for my students to see themselves in texts where they may not have seen themselves previously. This classroom project was brought to life by A group of anonymous donors and 2 other donors.

To develop a love of reading students need to have authentic, interesting, and engaging texts. Books I have included in my project are sure to engage and interest he many diverse students I have in my classroom. Help us travel the world, by finding the perfect book. When students have books they want to read, they begin to develop a love for reading. In a low income school, where many of my kids are below grade level, it is important to engage them in as much authentic reading as possible in order to help them grow. These books will be the difference my students need.
