Funded Sep 23, 2021Thank you so much for helping my students with her learning by supporting our headphones project. At our school we use a reading program that is part written and part online. My students were struggling to hear the computer communicate directions, and hear the assignments on the computer. Each student now has an assigned pair of headphones and can complete the assignments with ease. We are trying to bring up their reading comprehension skills, so we can bring them up to grade level. Each student can now make real progress.
My students can now have their stories read to them, and they can listen as well as follow along with the online books. My students don't need to feel ashamed of what level they are on, because now everything is private. Their scores are only being heard by them, and they can stay in competition with only their own levels. They are striving to read as many books as they can now. They are enjoying their little escape to whatever book setting they are reading.”
