Every area of child development can be addressed during block play. Children are using their fine and gross motor skills when lifting and positioning blocks. Visual spatial skills are developed when building bridges, towers, and other structures. Children develop language skills as they write labels for their structures and share what they have created with peers and adults. Children work together, developing social/emotional skills through block play opportunities. We currently have a very small amount of mini blocks that our group uses but we are in desperate need of a larger set! The potential of these tools to benefit our children is limitless! Thank you so much for your interest and donations! From my heart I am so grateful for your help!
