  • Wobble Chairs

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

    Thank you for donating to my project! My students love the wobble chairs! The wobble chairs have been very helpful for my students who have a hard time sitting still. The wobble chairs have helped my students be able to move around while still sitting for whole group lessons. We use these chairs every day.

    I have also incorporated the wobble chairs into my behavior plan. When students earn five tickets for good behavior they earn five minutes of sitting in a wobble chair.

    The Color-Changing Table is a key component of my classroom calm down area. This is a space where my students can go to identify the emotion they are feeling and to choose from a variety of activities to help them regulate their emotions.

    In addition to providing calm down strategies and activities; I have included manipulatives that can be used as a hands-on approach to self-regulation.”
