Physical Activity for Huskies
Funded Sep 18, 2024I want to extend our sincerest thanks for your generous donation towards our physical education (PE) program. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our students, and we are thrilled to share how your support is already making a difference!
Thanks to your generosity, we've been able to provide our students with new, high-quality PE equipment. This has not only enhanced their physical fitness but has also encouraged teamwork, creativity, and a love for active living. These resources are helping students build strength, improve coordination, and have fun while staying healthy.
Your investment in their physical well-being is more than just about equipment; it's about giving them the tools to lead a lifetime of wellness. We've already seen an increase in student participation and excitement in PE classes, and we know this will have a lasting impact.
Once again, thank you for being such an important part of our school community. Your commitment to fostering a positive, active environment for our students is truly appreciated. We look forward to keeping you updated on the progress and success your gift is helping to create.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Crandall

Funded Sep 20, 2023Upon receiving the materials for my project, my students and I were so excited! The equipment has been used to instruct students in a dynamic environment. We use the cd player for fitness testing and to play background music during other activities. Students love the music and I can tell it motivates and inspires them.
The other materials have had an equally positive impact. Some of my special education students can't get enough of the launch board. They get so excited to launch the bean bag into the air. Their attempt to catch the bean bag is exciting as they work on their eye, foot, eye hand coordination. We recently used the velcro paddles to work on catching. Both boys and girls loved sharing and using the materials. I have noticed an increased interest in participation. This has been extremely important as kids find a love for movement.
From my students and me, thank you for your generosity!”

Funded Sep 24, 2023Thank you for your generosity! Your donations have greatly impacted our learning environment. With the new resource, our students have been given the opportunity to learn and experience school safety.
Safety cones were purchased and immediately implemented into the school safety program. Students and staff have complimented how great it is to have the new resource. The cones have been a great help during morning and afternoon drop off. They are more visible than the cones that were replaced. Another benefit to the new resource is student's understanding where to stand during pick up. It has been such a big help to our school.
Again, thank you for your kind donations.”

Funded Apr 14, 2023I want to personally thank you for the generous donations to my class project. Your donations have greatly improved the organization of our P.E. equipment. This has allowed us to be more efficient as a class.
This project has provided me with teaching opportunities to show students the importance of planning and organizing. Because of your generosity, our P.E. closet is more organized. This has allowed students additional activity time, and it has helped our equipment stay nice.
From our school to you, we sincerely thank you! Your donations will help our students for many years to come.”

There Are Soccer Players Among Us
Funded Aug 31, 2022My students and I greatly appreciate your generosity. The donations you contributed helped purchase shin guards for my school team. For many students, this was the first time wearing shin guards. They were thrilled when they saw the new equipment. What a great experience for these students!
We used the equipment during the soccer season, at practice and at our games. The shin guards provided protection to the students. As a result, students were less hesitant to approach the ball near other people. Feelings of being kicked in the shin quickly dissipated.
In the future, the shin guards will be used for our girls soccer team and next season for the boys. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your contributions.”

Funded Feb 2, 2022Thank you for your generosity. My students were thrilled to receive the donated materials and equipment. Currently, we are using the equipment on a weekly basis. It has been a wonderful learning experience for them. My students have a greater understanding of the importance of moving and keeping active through out their lifetime. Many of them beg to use the equipment everyday, they love it! Without your generosity and the Donors Choose program this would not have been possible. In fact, the opportunities and experiences you have provided my students have been priceless. Thank you.”

Activity for Youth
Funded Feb 23, 2020Thank you for contributing to my project. The impact of your generosity has been enormous. Students have gained new experiences using the equipment that you donated. Their reaction when they first saw the equipment was of pure happiness and excitement. Some had never used a badminton racket before, the excitement on their faces will always be imprinted on my mind. For the younger students, it was their first time using a basketball standard. That is all they wanted to do, shoot hoops all day. They absolutely loved it. With the equipment, we will continue to build their skills and advance their health.”
