I will be using these materials to create an interactive learning environment for students of all levels. Students with behavioral disabilities often times have sensory needs, as well as learning disabilities. The sensory items will be used to meet sensory needs for all of my students. They will be able to use these items during instruction in order to help them focus and engage in the lesson. I need a lot of reinforcers to help my students develop appropriate replacement behaviors. I will use the food/candy, hot chocolate (water kettle), timers, fidget stress toys, and weight pads. I am continually looking for novel reinforcers to motivate my students. My students range from high cognitive abilities to low cognitive abilities, so I need to differentiate all of my lesson plans and reinforcers for these students. These items such as magnetic coins, buzzers, Spectrum workbook, fractions flip books, visual and growth mindset posters, etc. to help me create a more positive and inclusive learning environment for all of my students. Each student will get their own dry erase marker set to engage in lessons, demonstrating their understanding on whiteboards. As my students struggle with different behaviors, I have included various items to support positive social and emotional items for better decisions. To develop positive communication, manners, stress relief, I will use the Etch a Sketch, dart boards, Pop the Pig, Pirate Games and Airzookas. These games will promote positive interactions, team building, constructive cooperation and fascination.
