My Family and Consumer Science students are going to be learning about household and career responsibilities this year. I would love to have access to the best resources out there to engage students in realistic learning experiences. Engagement in activities such as cooking, child care, budgeting, interior decorating, and sewing are just a few of the important, realistic components to my students' preparation for independent adult living. Access to the most appropriate resources for realistic activities will lend to the success of my students in their challenging rise to becoming independent adults. With over 3 million resources available through Donors Choose, the ability to create more engaging assignments relating to balancing work and family will be so very beneficial to my students' success!
