My project includes books that will be used as weekly, interactive read alouds. Each week we will focus on a new learning target that will be taught through the use of these authentic texts. Students will engage in comprehension conversations before, during, and after the reading. Throughout the week we will build our understand of the learning target and extend the experience with a variety of tasks. I will also share these read aloud books and guiding questions with parents so we can continue these conversations at home! My goal is to read 250 books aloud to my kinders every school year!
