These books will give students choices to select materials that they identify with and therefore, are interested in reading. Helping to build a classroom library with books that are both understandable and interesting to students makes all the difference. Each class period begins with Free Voluntary Reading (FVR) and these books will allow students opportunities to learn Spanish! The more variety students have access to, the better the chances that they will search for and find a book that they love and will continue to read even when "the teacher isn't looking."
