iDream of iPads

Our hearts are so full because of your donation to the iDream of iPads project! We were able to receive one more iPad to add to the ones we had already. This made us able to go 3:1, and we are constantly looking for ways to get to at least 2:1. The students have been overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement as this change has happened. What you see them doing in the pictures is using the iPads to code the CUE Robots to move how they want them to move using Blockly language. When they learned that they could use these iPads to program robots in small enough groups that they would all get a turn, they really got excited! My students are becoming coders just because of your gift--and that is a job that will have a shortage for the next several years to come. They are learning life skills to make them life-ready graduates. Thank you for your generosity!”

Our school is a wonderful place to learn and grow. We have a lot of what we need, but some of the technology is getting old and not working correctly. My library leaders use iPads to make videos and take pictures of things that we need to show all of the students. We are requesting an an iPad for a way to work with video and use apps that will help them to learn. The iPads would help us to be more effective in taking videos to help other students to learn about how to use the library, about how to choose a good book, and even using video and pictures to highlight great books to read as a recommendation. We need someone to believe in us, and we believe that using DonorsChoose.org for the first time will help us to reach our goal. We are asking for one iPad only, which will help us to go a little further with our dreams.
