My Art students do not have a space to store their drying 2D or any 3D artwork. However, they are very creative on where they put their wet work- the floor (oh no footprints!), on top of cabinets, and other mysterious places. Right now they are unable to construct three-dimensional art because they have nowhere to store it. If funded, the shelves and drying racks will give the students a place for their art work to be stored safely and give them the opportunity to explore three-dimensional materials. I believe this will ignite new passions for the students, especially the ones that work better with hands-on materials.
