Thank you for your generous donations to this project! My students have been using the magic boards every week during center rotations. They have strengthen their skills to write out their first and last name, short vowel words, and forming sentences with sight words. The magic boards helped us save on using reams of paper and going through tons of dry erase markers and erasers. The sentence strip on the magic boards helped my students learn the formation of uppercase and lowercase letters. Thank you for your support!”
Thank you for your generous donations! Math centers have been more engaging because of your support! During small group center time, my students have personalized binders to help them with their focus math skill. They are able to strengthen their skills daily while working together with my aide or I. Repetition is important. The laminating sheets will allowed us to repurpose the worksheets for extra practice. Playdough center is their favorite as they form objects to use for math counting and solving equations.”

Thank you for your generous donations! The magic boards were a big hit for my students! We use them daily as part of our center rotation. The magic boards helped me save paper without having to print our worksheets. The sentence strip on the magic boards helped my students practice the number formation making sure they were staying inside the lines. Because of your support, my students can confidently transfer over their writing skills from the magic boards to their journals. Their penmanship is much more legible.”

Thank you for your generous donations! Your support with this project make it so meaningful as my students were able to use these resources to help them in both phonics and math. My students have been practicing how to count to 100 by skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s. This skill is extremely importantly as they move on to higher math. It was also fun challenging my students on how to chart 10 more or 10 less with any given number on the 120-chart. On the alphabet mat, students were able to identify initial, medial, and final sounds in our vocabulary words. The zipper pouches helped keep our resources organized.”

Thank you so much for your generous donations to this project! Your support gave my students the opportunity to create more art in the classroom. They enjoy creating colorful and beautiful illustrations with the markers, stamps, water paints, and washable paints. The racks gave plenty of space for them to dry their art piece. My students have built up independence of taking their own art work to their drying spot. Not only has art help open up discussion of feelings, art has been an incredible impact on letter formation as students practice different strokes and motion.”

Thank you so much for your generous donations to this project! Your support gave my students the opportunity to have a fun and quiet space for reading. The reading nook area was the first activity of choice when students were done with their work. It was exciting to see students recognizing their sight words in the books. This help boost up their confidence in wanting to read because they can! As more students read simple books, they were even more excited that they can read it to their friends at school and parents at home.”
Thank you so much for your generous donations to this project! Your support gave my students the opportunity to use color markers and ink pads in the classroom for writing and art. The people color crayon pack made my students more aware of different color names other than white, yellow, brown, and black. It helped us connect to various lessons on diversity and discussions of the uniqueness of our skin color. They were thrilled to find a crayon that matched their shade. We are a class family and celebrate all!”

Thank you so much for your generous donations to this project! Your support gave my students the opportunity to compare and contrast weight. We were able to use our balance scales to weight theme items using nonstandard measurements. As the year progressed and math skills strengthen, students were able to use math manipulatives to show greater than, less than, and equal to as well as simple addition and subtraction equations. The hands-on experience helped my students have a more concrete understanding of numbers.”

Thank you so much for your generous donations to this project! Your support gave my students the opportunity to witness the life cycle of butterflies! They were so excited to see the caterpillars roam around the net. Their curiosity grew as caterpillars were turning upside down. My students waited patiently each day looking at the chrysalis and wondering when it would turn into a butterfly. Joy filled their faces as they saw butterflies flying inside the net. We danced to the Butterfly Song and released the butterflies into nature. Thank you for encouraging Science in the classroom!”

Thank you so much for your generous donations into this project. Being a primary grade teacher, I wanted to be festive with our school spirit day celebrations. With your support, I now have school themed t-shirts that I can wear to celebrate Literacy Week, Halloween, Chinese New Year, May 4th, and Black History Month. I am looking forward to wearing the t-shirts annually to help my students celebrate their academic achievements in reading, math, and social emotional development. Thank you for helping me celebrate school spirit days!”

I have an awesome group of Kindergarten students! My students are English learners and English proficient students. Our Title 1 school serves low income and working class families. Although my students have limited resources, they come to school with what they have and are eager to learn. They understand that having an education will allow them to have more opportunities in the future. Help me bring in the necessary materials to help my students succeed in school.
