• Cozy Rugs!

  Thank you so much for helping us in purchasing these beautiful rugs for our classroom! It means so much to us! We are now able to sit down during center time, morning meetings, when we are reading books and throughout the day as we have rich discussions and conversations. So much of our time is spent on our rug. This rug is the centerpiece of our classroom. It is so beautiful and is admired by everyone who visits. • Fun With Desk Pets!

  Funded May 7, 2024

  Using desk pets in my classrooms in the past has been an extremely fun and exciting way to manage classroom behavior! I cannot wait to do it again next year only this time with Disney Doorables rather than just eraser animals!

  It will be used the same ways as before; Each week students will have opportunities to earn points on kickboard or Class Dojo (whichever program we are using for the year) by exhibiting exemplary behavior. On Fridays, students will use those points to visit the "desk pet store" and buy another desk pet, food for their pet, or accessories.

  This behavior management system offers positive incentives for increased target behavior. And it has continued to work the past few years with different tweaks based on what students like. Thank you so much for your generation donation, it has and will continue to make quite a difference in the classroom.”

• Art Supplies and More!

  I cannot believe how generous, supportive, and amazing you all are for helping make this project a reality! My students were so excited when they saw me open the boxes of crafts, paints, and stepping stones. Their eyes all lit up with excitement. I always try to find ways to tie art into our curriculum for the week. Art gives the students another outlet to express themselves.

  We were able to use the tiles already to make our own mini magnets! They will be able to create much more artwork with the clay and paints soon and cannot wait to do the stepping stones next week!

• Let's Play More Games

  I can't thank you enough for your generosity! I am extremely grateful, and my students were so very excited about these additions to our classroom. They love puzzles! This is an awesome way for them to interact with one another. Social skills are essential for them to learn so they can interact appropriately in their school, and home environments. Interactive games and puzzles allow social skill development in the areas of turn-taking, waiting, sharing items amongst peers, and sportsmanship. It's also a fun way to build confidence and a community amongst students. This donation has really helped with learning these valuable skills. Thank you all again for your support.”

• Kindness Kart Restock

  Thank you so much to everyone who believed in this project and donated what they could when they could! When the materials first came in, the students were excited and amazed! They asked what all of the materials were for. They knew what we were doing before we got this project funded. However, I do not think they realized how big of a deal it truly was about to be.

  This project is so wonderful! My students know how important it is to spread kindness around our classroom! Now they get to help spread it around the school! My students have spent their year with me learning about random acts of kindness and how it can make someones day. I cannot wait to watch all of my students allow some of their favorite staff members to pick treats off the cart and seeing their expressions. Thank you so much for all of the support in making this project dream come true!”

• Reading Books and Writing Galore

  Funded Dec 11, 2023

  I cannot thank you enough for helping us get some new read-aloud books for our class to enjoy together. I had picked out some great ones that we would be able to do neat writing activities with! Finding ways to incorporate neat writing or craft activities with books has helped bring more interest into reading for my students. They have LOVED rewriting their short stories/assignments in Sharpie!

  They have also been happy about the clipboard holders; they no longer have to keep the clipboard in their desks or stacked in a basket.
