The items requested serve a meaningful purpose with long term effects for my students. They are fundamental tools that will provide insight and create Mental health awareness for these young individuals to benefit from. The curriculum will consist of topics such as anger management, emotion recognition, teamwork, and impulse control. It is crucial for children to learn about their emotions and how to respond appropriately in order to navigate through life. Students will learn how to interact with one another on an emotional level which will build on empathy and respect. Play therapy will be incorporated to modify behaviors with the use of age-appropriate activities.
