Pre-K Speech Therapy Learning Experience

I'd like to take the time to thank you for the donations that have contributed to the learning of my speech students. All items have arrived and we couldn't be more grateful. The therapists and I have been using the materials often for play-based activities and art activities. Books are utilized for literacy-based activities and have supported these students tremendously with responding to simple wh-questions which is a crucial part of speech and conversational skills.

The students loved the doll house. This was a huge hit! Every student that walks in wants to play with the doll house. Some of these materials we received gave us the opportunity to discover the multiple strengths that our students possess. They may struggle with more traditional activities but some of them have shown that they thrive when it comes to specific activities (such as the doll house) and have surprised us all.

The students still have a long way to go, but I feel that they have gotten so much exposure and exploration with different toys and materials and it's mostly thanks to you! Thank you for believing in our mission. I can't wait to see how far these students make it in life. If you are a parent that donated, please keep us updated if they're not at this school next year.
