  • Learning On Wheels!

    Funded Jan 1, 2021

Thank you for your donation towards our class easel! It has been utilized in so many ways throughout these last few months. During our hybrid model when I was traveling to different classes, the wheels made it accessible to move, and the shelf underneath helped carry all my supplies with me to a new classroom! The double sided board space was always used for anchor charts, small group work, and our students love working on it to show their math skills. It has been a great addition to our classroom and will be for years to come!

So again, thank you so much for your contribution.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Dacey

  • Supplies For In-Person or Remote

    Funded Aug 7, 2020

Every fourth grade student has now had the opportunity to pick up their bag of supplies to help them succeed in their remote learning environment. Students have used these everyday learning materials while being remote to complete tasks at home thanks to your wonderful donations!

Students and their families were very thankful when they came to pick up their bags of supplies to take home with them and use whenever they need it for any subject. Each morning they join zoom prepared with their tools right by their side.

As our learning experience remains fluid, and each student's safety comes first, we are still learning remotely everyday. Whether we stay remote, or one day come back to school, every student will have their own individual supply bag to keep themselves prepared and safe!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Dacey

Before COVID-19 there were community supplies for students to share in the classroom. Now with the possibility of returning to school, these individual supplies will encourage safe distancing and limit students from having to share with one another. These materials will go in each student's individual learning box for their personal use only. If students do not return to school, and continue remote then these supplies can be given to them to take home, whereas many students did not have access to them before. These everyday supplies are used for all kinds of learning. Teaching in an urban school district, where many families come from different economic backgrounds, often means students come to school without these materials. Whiteboards, clipboards, book bins, notebooks, and pencil boxes have already been purchased. Any donation at all towards these materials will help my students be one step closer to prepared for whatever this upcoming school year may bring!
