Having a pair of headphones for all of my students would highly benefit their learning every single day. WES is a 1-2-1 school and I utilize computers throughout the day in all of my lessons. Often times, computer use involves long readings, videos, and research. Because of the vast range of learning abilities in my classroom, a lot of the students would benefit from having long readings read out loud to them. Students would also be able to watch educational videos during individual work time if headphones would be provided. Headphones will also be used for my students that are English learners because they often need extra verbal clues when learning. There is also an online program they use specifically designed for students that are learning English as a second language. I have seen the benefits of this program first hand and I am positive the benefits would be greater if the students were able to use it during independent work time. I would like to thank anyone who donates to this project in advance. I am so happy to be able to help my students in any way that I can and I believe this is one way to do that.
