  • Get Off That Computer and Come Outside to Play

    My students were ecstatic to receive these generous donations to improve our outdoor time at school. We have been learning how to play kickball, jump rope, play catch with tennis ball, and play skip ball. We are improving coordination and learning sportsmanship. We have incorporated these experiences into our writing lessons and class meetings. These students have been positively impacted by this donation!

    The boxes arrived on different day and the excitement would build with each box! When they opened them they cheered and counted the minuets until PE.”

  • Kindergarten Hands on Fun for Learning

    My students are smiling and laughing using our new literacy tools and math manipulatives.

    We spent this week using our new dominos to create math sentences with each number on our domino. We started with addition and by Friday we were subtracting!

    Number train puzzle to 120 took my students past the 100 we have been learning and made way for patterning and problem solving skills to complete 120! Other students were busy using the puzzle pieces to make groups of ten using 20-70.

    Our playdough station had scholars making words using our word family endings. They were so excited to share their creations using the alphabet stampers.

    The smiles and excitement for learning was on fire this week!”
