We are requesting pencils, erasers, a sharpener, paper, dry erase markers and more. We are a little more than halfway through the school year and we are running out of supplies. Pencils and paper are used every day all day, for every subject that we work on. White board markers are used by all for Math practice and review on large and hand held white boards.
Students are able to model and practice math problems working in small group and large group, anywhere in the room, on the floor or in a seat; this makes work hands-on, as well as easy to erase and correct. Using white boards also promotes less waste of paper for review and practice.
Additionally with cold and flu season in full force, we are in need of facial tissue and cleaning products for better health in the classroom. Clean hands, noses and work areas will help to keep attendance up. We need students at school as much as possible for the best chance at overall success. Most importantly we want to keep the little ones healthy.
