There are bunch of benefits of this project to my kiddos. My students should following the latest advancements in chemistry education. This project will help them to make investigations on atomic phenomena and experience constructing three dimensional models by using a 3D-printer. They will use a scale to make relative calculation to decide what sizes are more scientific. Then they will construct the models using their calculations with a 3D-printer. They will use their self-built 3D models to make compounds and discuss many phenomena using them. Chemistry class should be a hands-on experience time for them and they should be provided opportunity to learn while applying the school knowledge. This is a "cool" application for them.
