We have the parts for our robotics class. The problem is it's a big pile of parts. Students are spending too much class time looking for the parts they need and not enough time building. What we could really use is a variety of sized clear plastic tubs with lids to group and store the materials in. We have nice metal shelving to organize the tubs by category. A few shelves for tubs with structural parts, a few shelves for tubs with motion parts, and a few shelves for tubs with electronic parts. They will help the students quickly find just what they need and spend more time problem solving, building, and improving and less time trying to find the right parts. Some parts need 6qt tubs such as the motor, sensor, and USB cables, the lead screws, double snap blocks, angle blocks, rubber bands, string, wedge tools... Some parts need 12qt tubs such as the angle, bump, light, IR, and star sensors, large and small curved beams, gear teeth... Some parts need 26qt tubs such as risers, single snap blocks, axle blocks, hinge blocks, pulleys, string blocks, snap in spools, snap in cogs... Some parts need 54qt tubs such as the bearing modules, motor modules, dump bed, snap-in scoops, roadways... And some parts need 91qt tubs such as the control pads, bots, and ROKduino.
