One of my students' favorite part of learning is when they get the chance to include technology. Honestly, it is also one of my favorite parts of learning as well. However, when there are 20+ computers and iPads going on at the same time, it gets very hard to focus! We try our best to keep the volume at "personal level" but let's be honest here...with 6-year-old kids, it just doesn't work out that way! Students are often distracted, and it takes away from the task at hand. If I am working with a small group, it is almost impossible to hear each other. My parents' do the best they can, but unfortunately buying headphones is just not at the top of their to-do list. Headphones in the classroom for each student would make a world of a difference!
