Morning Choice stations like art, technology, leadership, problem solving and collaboration provide amazing opportunities for increased motivation, problem solving, while building a culture of collaboration and teamwork. Students will be able to begin their morning with a sense of ownership by choosing what they work on and creativity in often making something to put on display. Students are able to engage in activities such as painting or drawing, lego sculpting, tutoring a kindergartener, playing a board game (such as the requested collaborative games and strategy builders like Quirkle and Battleship), a class Khan Academy challenge or brain teaser puzzles. This low stress variety of opportunities sets the stage for a successful rest of the day!
