With alternative seating, my students can take charge of their learning! Research shows, my own experience also shows, that students become more interested and confident when they are able to choose during their learning. Not only that, but it helps them with responsibility. During independent work, they will be asked to choose what space is best for them. What chair or area would you do your absolute best work in? Hopefully, they will have the opportunity to make these decisions. Can you do your best work in a wobble chair? Sitting with a pillow and a clipboard? Or maybe even a traditional chair and desk. They will have the opportunity to learn and choose for themselves. Thank you for taking the time to read about my amazing kiddos. Thank you for your consideration. We are thankful for any help we can get!
