Kindergarten Flexible Seating
Funded Aug 11, 2020Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It has been a difficult year and having items to make our classroom a comfortable learning space makes a world of difference.
When my students and parents walked into my classroom at the beginning of the year and saw all of the wonderful seating choices, I saw their eyes light up. Your donations have helped make this into a place they truly want to be. I always wanted my classroom to feel like a second home for my students and now I really feel like that's what they have.
We have recently began to take full advantage of all of our wonderful flexible seating choices. Now that students know routines and expectations, they can choose to work anywhere during work time. Many are loving using one of the stools, going to the cafe table, or sitting on the floor with the wobble cushion (which helps give them the freedom to wiggle safely while they learn).
We are beyond grateful to have this warm and comfortable environment during this time and it's all thanks to each and every one of our donors. Thank you again from myself and 25 little kinders!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Kazak

Funded Feb 17, 2020Thank you so much for your support! Since we've gotten our electronic doorbells, our room has been so much calmer and we've become much more efficient in our transition times and clean up. Even monitoring our own actions has improved with our "uh-oh" button to let kids know when to change how they're working, and our "yay!" button to let kids know when they're doing great! This system is so much more engaging for the kids and helps to save my voice for what it's really needed for, instruction and student praise. This is a classroom system we will use for years to come. We are so grateful for your help in achieving this wonderful classroom management. Thank you again for your support to help classrooms thrive.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Kazak
