Grant HS Music Fundraiser: Return From Remote Learning

I cannot express how thankful I am for your generosity! Because of you, students will finally be able to have their own mouthpiece while playing their instruments. I never thought this would be possible, but it is finally starting to come true! I cannot wait to get back in the classroom and start making music again with my students with these new mouthpieces! Due to COVID-19, playing band instruments in a school environment won't be the same as before the pandemic. I want to make sure students are still able to play music safely and still enjoy learning how to make music. For example, before the pandemic, students shared mouthpieces and cleaned them before playing. While cleaning instruments and mouthpieces will still be emphasized when we return from the classroom, sharing mouthpieces will not be ideal anymore. It will be much safer for students to have their own mouthpieces once we are back in the classroom.
