These books will have a huge impact in my classroom. I am a brand new teacher and I don’t have books in my classroom. Having books in the classroom helps student continue to learn how read, explore different genres and help me teach subjects in the curriculum. These books will help me begin to develop my classroom library and help my student see themselves in the books they are reading. As a new teacher I am trying to build a classroom library for my students so that they can read in the classroom and be able to read books at home. My students come from low income families so the importance of literacy is highly valued in my students’ families. With these books my student will be able to practice reading at home and not just in the classroom. These books will help my students continue to love reading, help struggling readers and help guide classroom assignments.
