Thank you so much for your generous donation to our Pre-K classroom. A Social Emotional education is just as vital in a child's life as an academic one. Children who are taught to express themselves in a healthy way grow to be more accepting, socially conscious adults. In Pre-K we hope to foster this growth through the Teddy Bear Curriculum. In Lesley Koplow's books Unsmiling Faces and Bears Bears Everywhere!, she discusses the importance of supporting children's emotional health in the classroom through love, warmth and play. Please help me in providing my students with these opportunities by allowing us to have the materials we need to let these teddy bears live in our classroom!
