How can my students gain access to the information in the classroom if they am bouncing or rocking in their chair? How can their peers get all they can if their actions are a distraction to those who are able to sit still? My students have access to educational programs but are limited in their ability to use them to the fullest. Bridging these little gaps will make a tremendous difference in how the students interact with learning. So much is to be gained by the students to have access to opportunities that will make them even more successful while in the classroom. Optional seating will allow those students who are unable to sit still for small periods of time to move and be stimulated while still being engaged and focused without being a distraction to themselves and others. Additionally to be able to utilized the video instructions about how to solve problems while working on math problems particularly tailored to them will give them more access to information and added practice to work that cannot all be covered in the short school day. Headphones will make a big difference to their access.
