Lucky Little Learners
Funded Sep 29, 2023Thank you so much for helping my lucky little learners. My students are going to love to get their hands on new learning resources that promote critical thinking, problem solving, phonics skills, and math. We are lucky to benefit from your generosity. Thanks for helping us grow as learners and future independents.”

Funded Sep 1, 2023Thank you so much for helping my students. We have been incorporating the new materials in our literacy centers. We used the insect investigation at a dramatic play center where the students pretended they were at a museum. We also used the stamps at a writing center. They stamped the stamp, then wrote the sound that was missing. They loved having hands on materials to help them learn initial sounds.
When the materials showed up in boxes, I did an unpacking with the students present. They were so excited to see all the "toys" they were going to play with. I talked about how thankful we were to get the resources and how we would use them throughout the year. Eventually I had to find places to store the materials. The students are still asking where they are and when they are going to be able to use them. This makes me happy that they are excited for learning, specifically maganets, puzzles, and the pet vet.
We will continue to find ways to use the resources for learning through hands on discovery and play. Students, especially those who are English Language Learners, need opportunities to use their words. This is a great help with the start of it.”

Funded Feb 7, 2020I ant to reach out and thank you for donating money to my classroom and my students. They have loved the new seating options! They are a hot commodity as each student wants to try out both the wobble chair and the lower seating options.
The students in the wobble chairs use them to move around while instructional learning is taking place. It is awesome to see how reach need is met for my students. Active 10 year old are able to move about while listing.
As you can see in the pictures, the students are getting comfortable in the low seating options. They love how they can adjust the back rest. Sometimes I'm afraid that they will get too relaxed and fall asleep. Thank you again! I couldn't have done it without you.”
