Let Me Sit Too!
Funded May 10, 2023Thank you so much! My student loves being able to sit up properly with extra support! She feels safe when she is sitting around the table. She is able to do activities at the table with ease now!
The chest harness really helps her to feel secure. She has been able to sit at the table and eat with her friends and she is so much happier!
This has increased her social skills so much because she is now able to sit next to her friends and learn proper social skills and ways to eat at the table with proper manners! Thank you each so much!!”

Funded Sep 7, 2022Thank you so much for the generous donations! My babies love the dolls with disabilities so much! When they saw the dolls they said "this doll has a hearing aide like me!" It was the best feeling to watch their faces light up with pure joy. Thank you for giving my students that experience. They play with the dolls and they feel like they are being seen. It is such a great feeling to see them get represented in their center toys. The dolls help them to relate, talk about their disabilities, and to calm down. It is so greatly appreciated! Thank you!”

My students have been more engaged in activities and have been having lots of fun! The little bricks construction set has been so great because my students have built so many different things and it looks like real buildings! The light-up countdown timer has helped so much with transitions because my students can clearly see when the timer is up! Thank you all so much!”

Funded Sep 7, 2022Thank you so much for the generous donations! My students have enjoyed their new new sensory toys! When they saw everything they were so excited and their little faces lit up with joy! These floor tiles have been so great for my friends who crawl! They love to lay down and calm themselves by watching the colors move around in the tiles. The colorpillar sorting mat has given my students a more appropriate and fun way to sort. The sorting toys are soft and safe for my younger students as well! Thank you all so much!”

Funded Sep 20, 2021My students are learning so much better now that they have these theme boxes with extra learning materials! The theme boxes have everything I need already planned out, so it gives me more time to focus on my students! I love how in every theme box it has different areas of learning! There are activities for math, reading, gross motor, and even social-emotional! These really help me to teach my students because so much of it is all hands on activities! My students think they are just playing fun games, but they are actually learning so much in a fun way! I am very thankful for these theme boxes! Thank you all again for everything and for helping my class continue to soar!!”

If You Give a Child a Book

I have loved being able to see a new spark in learning since we have received these new books! They love book, but these books are more age appropriate and grasp their attention! I have one child who has fallen in love with our "Little Monster" book and carries it around all day trying her best to read it! Thank you for inspiring my students and for allowing my students to experience a new world through their imagination!”

Funded May 4, 2021Thank you so much for the flexible seating! My students are loving them! I have little friends who love to wiggle and wobble! They learn better if they are able to move, so these wobble chairs allows them to safely move and learn! The best part it is also not distracting to my other students! Thank you all again so much! My students are learning and growing into big kids little by little! We would not have been able to do this if it was not for you! I truly appreciate everything! I am excited to see how these chairs will help other students in the future!”

Funded Jan 10, 2021Thank you so much for the activity board and the straw bear cup! I have a student who has been trying for months to drink from a straw and because you funded for us to get this cup, she was able to begin learning how to drink from a straw! She is learning more and more each day! The activity board is hung up on the wall in our classroom. My students' eyes were wider than Dallas when they saw it! Instantly everyone was asking to go play!
The activity board has been much more than a new learning toy, it has taught our children how to share, interact with their peers, and has helped make everlasting friendships. My students are working their fine motor skills and some of our students who don't know how to play are finally starting to learning because the activity board is so engaging and age appropriate.
Our next steps is to continue to allow our students to learn with the materials through everyday activities such as play. We hope little by little our students will learn the skills they need to continue to succeed! Thank you all so much for your generous donations!”

Funded Jan 8, 2021Thank you so much for the cleaning materials! As you know, on top of normal cleaning we have started doing extra precautions in order for our students and teachers to stay safe.
We have been using the alcohol wipes to wipe down door handles and all of our electronics. We have also been using the vacuum cleaners to clean the floors better because at this age our students still take naps. We have used the batteries to bring old toys back life. The students have loved seeing and hearing everything these toys can do.
We, the teachers, were so blessed and filled with so much joy that someone would donate all these wonderful things to help our kids and us stay safe. My students were so happy to see all of the toys be able to make sounds again.
Our next steps is to continue to keep cleaning and try to continue to stay safe by following all protocols during this pandemic. One day, hopefully, when this pandemic comes to an end we will still be to clean and keep our students safe and healthy because of all these cleaning materials you all have donated! Thank you so much! We are so humbled!”

Funded Dec 18, 2020Thank you so much for the learning book bags to help my students during these troubled times! This school year has not been easy for anyone, but are students are really struggling. Thanks to donors like you, I was able to bring a little normalcy to their learning experience by allowing them to have these great book bags at home!
The learning bookbags have been sent home with my students, so they have all the learning manipulatives they need at home! When our students had to have virtual learning days during our winter storm, I was able to continue on with my lesson because they had all the materials they needed at home with them!
My students were so excited that they basically got to bring "school" home with them! They all jumped up and down with excitement. It makes my heart so happy that you were able to bring a smile to their face!
My students are using these materials to continue learning even after school. I send activities home with my students twice a week and they use the learning materials to continue working! It has truly made all of us so happy and made this school year a little easier! Thank you again for everything! We would not be where we are without you!”
