I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your generous contribution toward purchasing the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. Your support means so much to me, and it has already made a significant impact in my classroom.

  • Necessities for a Successful School Year

    Funded Nov 29, 2023

Thank you so much for your help in getting my students through the first several months of school! With these supplies, students have been able to enjoy their time in school with adequate supplies and materials to help them be successful, as well as snacks and a clear mind, to reach their full potential.

With the help of chart paper, markers, pens and post it notes, students are finally able to work together and collaborate as we work to enforce various literary skills including theme, point of view, main idea, and mood/tone. Additionally, students have been able to analyze peer essays and provide constructive feedback using provided rubrics with the help of these supplies. This process not only allows students to improve and revise their work, but they are afforded the opportunity to learn from one another as they peer-edit and collaborate. We are so thankful for you and your support!”

  • Gingerbread House Holiday Competition

    Funded Nov 21, 2023

Thank you SO much for helping to fund this project! Words cannot express the joy that my students experienced building their gingerbread houses! The entire day was a complete success. For many students, this was their first time building a gingerbread house. And although it did not come without some struggles (frosting everywhere and collapsed roofs!), they had a complete blast! I was even able to intertwine lessons on physics and math as we discussed support beams and surface area!! The students worked so well together - offering to pitch in and hold a graham cracker that needed support to sharing their candy and supplies with one another! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to give this experience to my students. It was truly so refreshing to do something fun with them and just have a moment to let them be kids! Thank you!!”

  • S-O-S Station for Middle School Students

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

This S-O-S cabinet has been a giant hit for students who find themselves in need of supplies and TLC! The students feel so special knowing that their safety, happiness and well-being are a top priority and they have access to whatever they might need in the classroom to help achieve this!

This S-O-S station becomes even more helpful as students feel comfortable knowing they can obtain anything they might need throughout the day, without having to feel embarrassed about asking for it.

Through your generosity, students can come to school and have access to water, snacks, various school supplies, stress balls, deodorant, sanitary pads, bandaids, hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes! We are all extremely grateful for YOU! Thank you so much!!”

  • Classroom Furniture for a Successful Classroom!

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! Your kindness helped bring this project to life and as a result, I was able to give my students the gift of organization! It have proven extremely helpful having these buckets and cubbies where students can store all of their belongings for my class. Middle school is a big adjustment for my 6th grade students. Not only is it the first time students are exposed to switching classes for every subject, but they are using lockers for the first time and adjusting to only being able to go to their lockers 3x a day! This has been quite the transition! Giving them a space in my room where they can store their ELA materials, and focus their efforts on their other classes, has made a big differences in helping my students be prepared and successful.

Thank you so much!! We appreciate you!”

  • Cricut Creations

    Funded Aug 22, 2023

Thank you so much for your support in funding this project! While it took some time to get the knack of it, I had several students who were actually well versed in the use of the machine and the program and were able to help me!! Through trial and error, and their assistance, students were able to successfully design personalized logos for their laptops to help keep track of their belongings! They were so thrilled!! Students were also able to select the colors of their choice as this projected funded a variety of vinyls and supplies! Thank you so much for your kindness!! My students and I are so grateful!”

  • Basic Supplies for a Not So Basic Classroom

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

I am so grateful for your support that I can provide students with basic supplies like pencils, paper, post-it notes and erasers to help them best learn and get through each day. It is truly amazing how these little things can make such a difference through the eyes of an eleven year old. As we have made it through the first months of school, there are new needs that have presented themselves. With appropriate storage materials and organizers, students can best utilize the supplies provided and focus their efforts on their learning and education.

With the help of these supplies, students are able to work together and collaborate as we work to enforce various literary skills including theme, point of view, main idea, and mood/tone. Additionally, students have been able to analyze peer essays and provide constructive feedback using provided rubrics with the help of these supplies. • Creativity is in the Air!

    Funded May 8, 2023

Thank you so much for your support funding this project! As this was received at the end of last year, I have started this year implementing group and station work which will allow students to express their creativity!! Using this laptop, students are given the option to use iMovie to express ideas and concepts that we discuss throughout reading our novel. They are able to put together presentations that teach others about Greek gods, theme, writing hooks, etc. As not all students are pen and paper learners, it is wonderful having the ability to give students choices that allow them to best express their ideas based on their own personal preference!

Additionally, students are allowed free exploration time where they can use the laptop to get hands on with our Cricut machine making stickers or cards for themselves, their friends, their lockers, etc. I love being able to give students this creative outlet to explore new interests!

We thank you so much for your kindness!!”

  • Music for the Mind, Art for the Soul

    Funded Dec 31, 2022

Thank you so much for your support in funding this project! This bluetooth speaker has been super beneficial and fun to have in class! One of the greatest benefits is that students have been designing their own musical compositions in their music class. The songs are crafted on a program that is unique to their computers, so they are unable to "share" the assignment with me, but because we can connect their computers to the bluetooth speaker, all of the students have been able to share their songs with the entire class.

We have also incorporated a "Friday Funday DJ" into our 10th period class on Fridays. Each week a student who earns the title of "DJ" is able to play his/her playlist and favorite songs for the class while we relax and wrap up for the week! This has been a great motivational tool to keep students working hard during the week. It has also helped to bring a lot of fun and laughs into the classroom, as well as insight into each student's personality!

Thank you so much for making this possible!!”

Reading truly is fundamental, especially to a child who has limited exposure to the English language when he or she steps foot outside of school. As an English teacher, I can only expose my students to so much content in a period, a day, or even a school year. We hardly have the opportunity to discuss grammar, vocabulary, and creativity as much as I would like. Independent reading is essential to escalating a student's knowledge and academic success. By providing a welcoming environment, I can spark an excitement in students for reading, with the hopes that when they do engage, they are learning about ideas, concepts, and vocabulary, without even realizing it! Additionally, giving students the ability to work outside of their desks, collaborate in small groups, and even "check out" these books, helps to develop a sense of independence and responsibility amongst each learner, making them more accountable for themselves and invested in their own learning and growth.
