    Thank you for your generous donation of the funds for ordering the necessary supplies needed to help make running my classroom smoothly.

    The supplies has helped reduced paper waste and environmental friendly as now I am able to print and reuse the activities during classwork. The generous funding has also supported the purchase of dry erase markers as those run out very quickly when students are doing work using a Vertical Panel. I cannot even recall how many dry erase markers the students and I have run through.

    The generous funding has helped eased the unnecessary stress and has enabled me to use my prep time effectively such as planning lessons and/or activities.

    Thank you again for the generous funding to purchase the necessary resources and activities to support the learning of my students in my Algebra 2 class.

    The generous funding enabled purchases of resources to help increase student engagement in learning the major concepts related to Algebra 2. The increase in student engagement brought joy in the classroom where students were engaged in discourse where they utilized critical thinking and reasoning skills to attain a solution to a problem. From fluency, application, and enrichment practice, students progress towards approaching, meeting, or exceeding the common core standards related to Algebra 2 course.

    The purchases made using the funding include notes and activities like task cards that sync with the Building Thinking Classroom learning environment. My students and I thank you for making our Fall Semester a wonderful learning experience!”

The graphing calculators will be utilize in classroom as a teaching and learning technology tool to make connections between graphical and algebraic representations and to aid in their skill to achieve precision in their calculations. Students will be learning to use the graphing calculators to help increase their proficiencies when solving complex mathematics applications. For example, students will use graphing calculators to find factors for a number when factoring or solving quadratic functions, seeing the transformations between parent function vs the transformed function, and finding the linear, exponential, quadratic regression equation when modeling a problem, and analyzing graphings of functions and solutions.

About my class
