Classroom Games to Build Community
Funded Apr 19, 2024Thank you so much for the games that were donated to my classroom. I have found so many great benefits to having them in my room. I wanted these for students to build a classroom community with. I was noticing that during free time or inside recess that students were turning to technology. While there is nothing wrong with that, I just noticed that interaction during this time was low. I have loved watching my students connect more through these games.
With the start of a new school year I have been excited to watch how quickly friendships form with these new games. They love the marble run and magnatiles. They work together to build amazing things! I's cool to see their communication and teamwork blossom. These are skills that they need to be successful adults and they are getting practice in these skills safely in my classroom while I observe.
We love these games and are FOREVER grateful!”

Mrs.Treanor's Class iPad
Funded Jan 18, 2022Thank you for your willingness to provide an iPad for my classroom to use each and every day.
My students have loved being able to have my project their work from their desk up onto the projector for the rest of the class to see. We love to discuss strategies we are using in math and being able to project in real time while having students explain their thinking has made all the difference.
This iPad is also helping my small group instruction become more and more intentional as I plan lessons and show students videos on a certain phonics skill we are doing. We also use it do word sorts and word chains.
Thank you so much for changing the lives of my students as we continue to learn and grow in 3rd grade!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Treanor
