The materials for this project will go directly to the school's new MakerSpace. At the moment, students do not have any arts programs other than those provided through outside residencies which are available only for a limited time. Many of our students have expressed interest in an art class or program within the school. The school places great emphasis on Project-Based Learning. Through this initiative, we will provide a space for all students in the school to have a room to display their projects and create new ones utilizing any materials and resources available. Teachers can also reserve time in the room to provide instruction leading towards a project.The ultimate goal is for the room to serve as inspiration for students' creativity in all STEAM fields through hands-on learning.
