I would like to help my preschool students explore areas of science, technology, and math, by offering learning centers within our child choice classroom. Students will engage in embedded learning in twelve ECERS centers using our new materials which consist of Natural Stack and Sort Board, Block Animals Building Set, Life Cycle Puzzles - Set of 4, Bead Sequencing Set, and Caterpillar to Butterfly, during 50 minutes of daily child choice activities. Our preschool STEM goal is to help children reflect on their learning by asking open-ended questions about how they approach and solve problems, support children emotionally by creating safe and secure environments and organize the learning environment with a variety of age-appropriate learning materials Being able to provide engaging learning materials will encourage students to build a love of science and math, and hopefully inspire them for years to come as they form basic concepts that they will take with them through their early development into kindergarten and early elementary school.
