  • Help Urban Math Students Find Their Solutions!

    Thank you for your generous donations to our classroom! The supplies have helped us return to school safely and adapt to new classroom procedures. The hand sanitizer has helped keep our classroom clean and the bags have helped us keep our supplies separate. The students have not lost any class time due to a Chromebook losing its charge, thanks to our new charging stations and cables.

    Some students were anxious to return to school after being remote for so long (18 months!) and they were comforted by the fact that we thought about their safety and well being with the items we received.

    Now that we have somewhat settled into our new COVID routines at school, the students are now realizing how resilient they have become and are now ready to approach new challenges. Your donation has made that possible.”

My students will begin units in statistics, probability and geometry and your donation can help them succeed. These products are basic necessities that will help engage my students. Statistics, probability and geometry are hands-on topics that need the right supplies in order to fully engage and excite students. Dice will help students generate data, while highlighters and colored pens will help them organize their data sets. Large three-dimensional representations of geometric figures will allow students to examine the shapes they are working with and allow them to relate to surface area and volume. Erasers are essential to any math classroom as we always need to fix our work. The tape will let us display student work while leaving the paint still attached to the walls :)
