My project is to obtain colored ink cartridges so that I may create fun, engaging materials for my students. These materials will benefit whole-group instruction, small-group intervention, and individual students. For example, during a language arts lesson on story retell, colored photos would help my students sequence events in the story better than images that are in black and white. For students that need remediation or extra practice, I create games for them using file folders and colorful laminated pictures. Some of the skills students would be practicing are rhyming words, letter matching, and identifying the months of the year.
