Colorado has recently adopted new standards. Because of this, some of the supplies I need for teaching are not yet part of the collection at our school. STEM supplies are an important part of a science classroom. I love to use hands-on learning and exploring; it is the most effective way to get students engaged and excited about the subject matter. Since we have the new standards, I would really like to start off strong and have great hands-on supplies to use for teaching electromagnetism. They will be exploring how objects interact to transfer energy. With these supplies they will be able to investigate magnetism, electricity and circuits.
