Thank you so much for your generous donations. Having access to a document camera while teaching online has been a game-changer! Thanks to this handy device, my struggling readers can now use the letter cards I made for them to learn how to break apart words into easy-to-read syllables.

While logged into Zoom, I can share my screen to teach lessons, but I always struggled to really show them how to break apart words. Now, my students watch as I move my letters into workable parts and we sound them out together. I can finally do the hands-on learning that had been missing from my lessons since the pandemic began.

Soon, my students will return to school face-to-face and I look forward to using our new document camera to instruct without needing to come in direct contact. So many aspects of teaching require hands-on demonstrations, particularly with young learners and now I can reach them while maintaining a safe distance. Thank you for your amazing gift.”
