The students in my class use large whiteboards often, but the ones that I have are getting old and stained. The new, smaller clipboard whiteboards would be used in multiple lessons and include the entire class. In my chemistry class, we use whiteboards to demonstrate our understanding of everything from drawing electron configurations to completing math problems on stoichiometry. Whiteboards are an effective strategy to instantly assess student understanding and remediate common mistakes. I know the whiteboards will be greatly appreciated by all of my students and I can't wait to see what other opportunities it will provide my students to dig deeper into the world of chemistry.
