Thank you so much for supporting my students and allowing them to have the tools to collaborate and learn Algebraic concepts.
The students were so excited to open the materials on the first day we received them. My students are newcomers learning Algebra 1 and English. Materials such as the rolling whiteboards and markers allow them to be creative when learning math skills and apply their learning to their lives and the world. In one of the lessons they worked on applying their knowledge about integers and they were able to collaborate with their classmates and use the new materials we received. With the materials, my students are having memorable learning opportunities!”

I want to thank you all for your generous support this school year. These materials have impacted my students and their families greatly and not worry about buying these materials for their students. My students have enjoyed the materials so far. At the beginning of the school year, they were assigned a notebook so they could keep an interactive notebook to add notes, journal writing, and write their exit tickets. With the interactive notebook glue sticks, markers, and pencils have helped my students be organized and creative with their notes.
During our unit about solving one-step and two-step equations, my students used the big erasers and will continue using the materials to create poster presentations about solving equations in my math class. I want to Thank You all for making a difference in the lives of my students and their families.”

Thank you for your support in making this project possible!
My students were super excited about the books and many of them took the books home before they had to close down the schools because of Covid 19. I am very happy that they were able to get a book to take home as many of my students don't have access to books at home. Recently, a student from my zoom meetings mentioned that he loved reading the book he took home and we were able to discuss his favorite chapters and characters. I know many of them are excited to go back to school and read the new books that were left at school.”

I am grateful for all your support and for making this project possible. My students are also very grateful to have more tools to help them build up their vocabulary skills in class.
When the materials arrived they were so happy and helped me open the boxes and started working on some of the puzzles and reading the vocabulary cards with the definitions. I have students who stay after school and ask to use the materials to practice. What I like about these new materials is that the puzzles have pictures and are helping students remember the words.”
Help me to encourage vocabulary building skills for my students using hands-on material. Vocabulary practice can be challenging for ELL students and I am trying to make it more fun for students.
Napoleon Hill said, "The starting point of all achievement is desire." I am working to give students different means of building up their vocabulary skills in my English 9/10 class. I want to encourage students to work on their vocabulary skills and have the desire to learn new words daily. One method that I am planning is to give students the opportunity to build language through the use of hands-on materials with visuals to help them retain the meaning of words. Please help me to get this project started!
