  • Art in History Class!

    Funded Jan 31, 2025

Thank you so much for contributing to my classroom and to my students. My students will continue to use these supplies to create their end of the trimester projects. It makes Social Studies classes more engaging when I can offer great art supplies that allow them to feel inspired to create something they are passionate about.

The other supplies in this project will allow my students to function and have the materials they need to be successful.

Again, thank you so much for helping me get the resources I need to provide for my kids!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Turner

  • Books and Supplies!

    Funded Sep 5, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to my learning community. My students have completed our study of World War I and together we read All Quiet on the Western Front. They were so engaged with the material and then we constructed World War I trenches.

My students have also been using the headphones that this project provided to aid them in completing coursework that involves watching a video during independent time. Again, thank you so much for your donation and support of teachers and students. It doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Turner

  • Composition Books and Pencils

    Funded Aug 4, 2024

Thank you very much for donating to my learning community. These art supplies will be utilized for all of my classes throughout the school year. My students are already using the composition books for our daily "do nows" to reinforce our key concepts. Further, the other supplies on the list will allow me to continue to provide a learning atmosphere that is engaging to all students. This allows me to differentiate my instructional methods which supports all students wherever they are on the learning trajectory.

Ready for a great school year!”

  • Cherokee Basket Weaving!

    Funded Mar 13, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to my learning community. This project aided my students in finalizing our reading of Braiding Sweetgrass. We spent the week basket weaving and learning about the importance of baskets in Native cultures. Furthermore, this was such an enriching project for my students to truly connect with the learned material and see how important it was for Native Americans. Throughout this semester my students have been learning about the indigenous worldview and this project brought this point home for them.

    Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Turner

  • Supply Boost!

    Funded Feb 1, 2024

Thank you so much for donating to my classroom and supporting my students. These supplies allowed us to finish up our trimester making creative projects representing a significant figure or event that impacted human history. These projects turned out to be amazing! I am so thankful that you got to be a part of that by donating to my project. Further, the left over supplies will be used this coming trimester for more creative art projects that support learning and understanding the essential questions.”

  • Books for Social Studies!

    Funded Aug 12, 2023

Thank you so much for providing the funds necessary for my students and my classroom to be successful this school year. Already we have been making good use of the books that we received. In the aftermath of COVID-19 building up those reading comprehension skills has been essential in the classroom.

The books that I requested were both newer in publication and have been great at supporting the "buy-in" of my students to read. Further, these books and supplies have been a game changer for my classroom and my learning community.

    Thanks again,”

  • Supply Boost!

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Thank you for donating to my supply boost project. I cannot express enough how much my students and myself appreciate your support. Purchasing and supplying a classroom is a par-time job. Students need supplies in a room to thrive and to gain a sense of belonging. I am so thankful for the continued support of so many people to keep my classroom supplied. Further, the art supplies in this project were used to create so many art projects and provide materials for the future. Also, the composition books will be used for journaling for next year. That is such a relief to have those already in my classroom and ready for August.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Turner
