We all know that children learn best through hands on experiences. Children need space to move and natural areas where they can relax, play and learn. I am creating an outdoor classroom so teachers at my school can take their learning outside. I want my students to experience fresh air, sunshine, different textures all why learning. With our outdoor classroom students can sort leaves, rocks, acorns or anything else they may find in their space. Students can play through themes of camping, fishing, being a park ranger or a teacher all while enjoying the outside!. Our outside classroom will help to boost thematic units and create larger than life learning experiences!
